Literacy Series

This series is designed to support the implementation of A Guide to Effective Literacy Instruction, Grades 4 to 6 and to serve as a resource for facilitators working with classroom teachers to deepen their knowledge of literacy acquisition and development. Recognizing that the best learning occurs in collaboration with others, the series is based on the principles of professional learning communities.

Numeracy Series

This series supports the implementation of A Guide to Effective Instruction in Mathematics, Number Sense and Numeration, Grades 4 to 6. The sessions have been designed for facilitators working with classroom teachers to enhance their mathematical knowledge and understanding. Recognizing that the best learning occurs in collaboration with others, the series is based on the principles of professional learning communities.

Each PowerPoint presentation is supported by a booklet explaining the professional learning strategies and exercises in further detail.
