Spring 2007 Symposium at the Kingbridge Centre
Research was the theme of the Barrie Region Professional Network Centre Spring Symposium at Kingbridge Centre, King City, Ontario. This symposium brought together school boards within the region who were participating in MISA related action research. Participants heard about the new provincial directions for research. As well they had opportunities to interact with others who were presently conducting research in their school board.
The purpose for holding this event was to provide an opportunity for educational leaders to reflect on their board's existing capacity to conduct research and gather strategies to support the further development of their board's research capacities.

The keynote address was given by Dr. Carol Campbell, Chief Research Officer with the Ministry of Education.
