Spring 2008 Symposium at the Kingbridge Centre
Research was the theme of the Barrie Region Professional Network Centre Spring Symposium at the Kingbridge Centre in King City, Ontario. This symposium brought together school boards within the region who are participating in MISA related action research. Participants heard about new provincial directions for research and had the chance to interact with others presently conducting research in their school board. This event gave educational leaders an opportunity both to reflect on their board's existing capacity to conduct research and to gather strategies to support the further development of their board's research capacities.

The keynote address was given by Dr. Carol Campbell, Chief Research Officer of the Ministry of Education.
