The workshop will:
- Introduce you to CSC.
- Provide you with a set of frequently asked questions about textbook packages.
- Give you a set of expectations to direct your learning.
- Indicate what support CSC can provide.
- Identify some of the key points you should consider when assessing textbook packages.
- Provide a textbook assessment tool.
- Provide you with a way to personalize a textbook package assessment tool.
This process does not provide you with a magic "yes" or "no" answer on textbook choice. The purpose of the process is to help you think critically about the resource and how it matches your classroom needs. You must use your professional judgment and all of the tools available to you to make the decision.

A textbook package is a collection of print and non-print components constituting a classroom resource that supports a full course of study for a curriculum of a province or territory in Canada.
