Curriculum Correlation
An Introduction to International Business supports high school curriculum in Business Studies programs dealing with topics concerning international business, trade, and entrepreneurship.

Content
The student booklet provides a wealth of up-to-date information in an appropriately sequenced manner. The language style is clear and the charts, diagrams, and graphics help learners to access and understand the information. The teacher's manual includes a variety of learning activities that can be modified easily to meet the needs of a particular course and class. The resource incorporates technology through frequent references to applicable websites and by encouraging learners to use application software for assignment and project preparation.

Methodology
Interesting activities incorporate various learning/instructional strategies such as brain storming, discussion, case studies, group work, role playing, research, and an independent project. These learning activities require learners to use and practise various forms of thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. The planning notes, transparency masters, and answer keys for all activities assist teachers in planning and presenting the material. This resource further supports curriculum by making valid linkages to the workplace and the community.

Assessment
The teacher's manual includes a variety of well sequenced assessment tools. An excellent culminating project - "An International Business Proposal" and its accompanying rubric provide a means to measure student achievement.

Format
The student booklet and the teacher's manual are well organized and logically sequenced. Colour, icons, and illustrations add to the visual appeal of the student booklet. The student booklet contains a valuable index of key terms dealt with in the resource.

Bias
This resource provides positive and negative arguments for all issues presented to allow learners to make their own decisions. It encourages learners to examine these views critically and to perform further investigation before validating them. It outlines different ways of doing business among various cultural groups as a starting analytical framework, but cautions learners to avoid forming stereotypical views of any cultural or ethnic group.

Review Recommendation
An Introduction to International Business is recommended as a supplementary learning resource to support Business Studies curriculum in Canadian high schools.
