The aim of the book is to be a tool that could be used to address the subject of mental health in a non threatening way the enables discussion of some of the early warning signs of a mental/brain disorder and how these are treated and dealt with. The fairy tale format with a friendly dragon captures the attention of the child and encourages many different ways to discuss and approach the subject through the world of Iris the dragon and her riverbank friends.
