The Gathering Place uses clear, simple, and precise language appropriate for the target audience to present the content. The resource uses relevant technological links to further underline the concepts. Photos and maps in the resource highlight Canada's capital. Additional supplementary activities are available in order to enrich the learning and allow students to transfer this learning outside the classroom.
Methodology
The pedagogical approach suggested is current and appropriate. The lessons present a variety of teaching strategies linked to learning styles allowing for adaptation of the resource to various subject areas. Through group work, the resource emphasizes communication and problem-solving.
