In order to meet their local needs, boards are responsible for selecting textbooks from The Trillium List and approving them for use in their schools with the assurance that these textbooks have been subjected to a rigorous evaluation in accordance with the criteria specified in the policy document Guidelines for Approval of Textbooks.
