Search Tips
- For best results, use the fewest terms (keywords) needed to describe what you are looking for
- If you retrieve too much, narrow your search by using more terms
- Put quotes around phrases: "native studies"
- Boolean operators AND and OR are understood; NOT is not.
- Wildcard in middle or end of term: person*, or snowm*n
- Use the dropdown lists to restrict your search by grade range, curriculum subject or type of resource.
Not finding enough or anything? Try these techniques:
- Check the spelling of your terms.
- Try other words with similar meanings.
- Use the same terms without quotes requiring them to form a phrase.
- Use fewer search terms.
- Use the "*" (wildcard) to find different forms of a term:
person* will find person, persons, personality, personally
snowm*n will find snowman, snowmen
