A podcast is a series or collection of audio or video files which can be downloaded for playback on computers and portable media players, such as iPods, video capable PDAs and video capable mobile phones.
The word podcast is an amalgamation of the words "iPod" and "broadcast". The Apple iPod is the brand of portable media player for which the first podcasting scripts were developed.
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". An RSS document (which is called a "feed" or "web feed" or "channel") contains frequently updated content, such as our list of podcasts, and is read on the subscriber's computer using software called an "aggregator", "RSS reader, or "feed reader".
Our podcast RSS feeds will let you choose your preferred podcast format (M4V, WMV, or MP3) and will keep you informed when new podcasts become available.
