One of the key strategies of The Literacy and Numeracy Secretariat is to work cooperatively with school boards and teachers to build capacity within the system.
In the first of these webcasts, on May 10, Ontario teachers had an opportunity to meet Ben Levin, the new Deputy Minister of Education, who shared his thoughts and perspectives on a wide range of educational topics and recent developments in education. Joining him were a group of teachers from across the province, who had the chance to ask questions.
