General Grants for Teachers Application Form

For any Canadian Teacher in K-12 Classrooms

One or more General Grants are given annually to a Canadian teacher, or teachers, for the development of creative and innovative learning resources. Proposals for the General Grants must meet the following criteria. The proposal must:

The deadline for applications for this grant is April 1st of the year in which you are applying. Your proposal must show how the project addresses all seven criteria outlined above. The project should be developed in a format that will allow it to be published on the Internet.

The proposal must be an idea that has not yet been developed. The Curriculum Foundation provides grant recipients with an experienced mentor who assists in the development of each resource. All teacher-developed resources must be web-capable projects because they are posted on the TCF website so that any teacher may download them free of charge. The copyright for all other uses of projects will reside with the teacher-developer(s).
